هذا دليل عمل يختص بنشر الكتاب. بدءاً من الحصول عليه، وانتهاء بطباعته وتوزيعه. وهو دليل مختصر، ويتناول موضوعاته بصورة مباشرة. مذكراً بالمتطلبات التي يلزم أن تؤخذ بالحسبان في أثناء المرور بالمحطات الرئيسة من العمل فيما يسمى" صناعة النشر"، و الإجراءات العلمية التي تقوم بها الإدارة أو الإرادات المتخصصة في هذا العمل، ومن ثم فهو ليس كتاباً في أدبيات النشر، وليس اقتباساً و تجميعاً من الأدلة التي أصدرتها بعض دوار النشر المتعددة، على أهمية كل ذلك وفائدته. وإنما هو تدوين للخبرة العملية التي اكتسبها المؤلف من عمله في هذا الميدان سنوات طويلة. ثم أصبحت هذه الخبرة الإطار الذي يحكم عمل إدارة النشر في المعهد العالمي للفكر الإسلامي.إن هذا الكتاب فضلاً عما سبق مرشد عمل للمتعاونين مع المعهد، لا سيما في أعمال التحرير بأنواعه ومستوياته.وهو مفيد للباحثين و المؤلفين الذين يتعاقدون مع المعهد على كتابة بحوثهم أو كتبهم، وبذلك يوفرون كثيراً من الجهد في المراحل اللاحقة من العمل على مؤلفاتهم.إن ندرة الأدلة المختصة بالنشر بالغة العربية يجعل نشر هذا الدليل عملاً مفيداً لأي باحث أو كاتب يطلع عليه. و لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات، وطلبة الدراسات العليا فيها، وللعاملين في دور النشر؛إذ سيتيح لهؤلاء جميعاً فرصة لإعمال الرؤية في ما يعملون، والمقارنة بين ما ورد في هذا الدليل وما هو متوفر لديهم من تعليمات وأنظمة وممارسات. فتحي حسن ملكاوي: تربوي وأستاذ جامعي أردني، دكتوراه في التربية العلمية وفلسفة العلوم من جامعة ولاية ميتشجان الأمريكية عام 1984م، المدير الإقليمي في المعهد العالمي للفكر الإسلامي، رئيس تحرير مجلة إسلامية المعرفة، وعضو في مجمع اللغة العربية الأردني، من آخر إنتاجه العلمي: كتاب منهجية التكامل المعرفي؛ مقدمات في المنهجية الإسلامية، وكتاب البناء الفكري؛ مفهومه ومستوياته وخرائطه، وكتاب منظومة القيم العليا: التوحيد والتزكية والعمران. يعمل حالياً على إخراج مشروع: "التراث الإسلامي، والفكر التربوي الإسلامي".
