تروي أحداث هذه القصة على لسان الفيلسوف الحكيم بيدبا على هيئة حوارات فكرية معقمة بين الفيلسوف بيدبا والشيخ الرحالة ابن بطوطة وتلامذتهم.وحوارات هذه القصة وقضاياها هي امتداد لقضايا قصة جزيرة البنائين التربوية العامة الموجهة لتكون عقلية الناشئة والشباب.إن الغاية وحوارات هذه القصة الموجه إلى الشباب وآباء والمربين هو طرح قضايا الأمة الاجتماعية، وإعادة صياغة مفاهيمها ورؤيتها الكونية على ضوء الرؤية الكونية القرآنية الحضارية وحكمة التطبيقات النبوية على واقع عهد الرسالة، وإزالة ما أصاب فكر الأمة وثقافتها وسلوكها وممارستها من تشوه في عصور الجمود والتخلف.إن من أهم ما يميز منهج أسلوب حوارات القصة هو إدراك ما يواجهه الآباء والمربون من قضايا تتعلق بتربية الأبناء، بما يعنيهم على تفعيل العقيدة الإستخلافية السمحة بأسلوب قصصي حواري علمي مقنع، يسهم في جعلها فعلاً واقعاً إيجابياً مؤثراً في حياة الأمة وسلوك ناشئة أجيالها وعلاقاتهم الاجتماعية والأسرية،وفي أسلوب أداء مؤسساتهم التربوية والعلمية والتعليمية وجهودهم الدعوية.عبد الحميد أحمد أبو سليمان: من مواليد مكة المكرمة. رئيس المعهد للفكر الإسلامي، والمدير المؤسس للجامعة الإسلامية العالمية في ماليزيا (1988- 1999م). حصل على الدكتوراة في العلاقات الدولية من جامعة بنسلفينيا في الولايات المتحدة عام 1973م. له العديد من الكتب والبحوث في مجالات الفكر الإسلامي المختلفة. منها : (( النظرية الإسلامية للعلاقات الدولية : اتجاهات جديدة للفكر والمنهجية الإسلامية)) و (( أزمة العقل المسلم)) ، و(( العتف وإدارة الصراع السياسي في الفكر الإسلامي بين المبدأ والخيار)) ، و ((أزمة الإرادة والوجدان المسلم)) و (( الإصلاح الإسلامي المعاصر)).
