اعلم أنَّ السلف الصالحَ أجمعوا على أَنَّ خبرَ الواحد حُجَّةٌ في الأحكام والعقائد، فلو كان أيُّ دليلٍ قطعيٍّ يثبت أنَّ العقيدة لا يجوز إقرارُها بالاستناد إلى خبرِ الواحد -كما يزعمون- لصرَّح الصحابة رضي الله عنهم بذلك، بل بالعكس عملوا بالأدلة الموجِبة للعمل بخبر الواحد عامَّة مُطلقة مِن غير تفريقٍ بين الأحكام والعقائد، ولا بين مختلف الأبواب والمسائل؛ لأنها لم تُقَيَّدْ بمسألةٍ أو شرطٍ، والتفريقُ بينهما قولٌ مُحْدَثٌ لا أصلَ له في الشريعة، ولم يعرفه الصحابة رضي الله عنهم ولا أحدٌ من التابعين، ولا نُقِلَ عن أحدٍ من أئمَّة الإسلام والدِّين، وإنما هو معروفٌ عن رؤوس أهل البدع ومَن تبعهم،
