لست سوى رجل مهدر ومهزوم تحاصره عتمة سحيقة. أتوسد خيبتي وأهش بعقلي الندم أينما ذهبت، من يراني يظن أنني أعيش في برج عاجي.. لكن حياتي أوهن من بيت العنكبوت .. أظل حائراً كمن حل عليه غضب السماء ، تصبح أقول يا ليتها تمسي، تمسي أقول يا ليتها تصبح، ما إن أضاجع حلماً إلا وولدت طفلاً من الفشل، وكلما أشعلت شمعة للأمل يطفئها هوج رياح الحزن، أحاول التعالي على الواقع لكن سرعان ما تسقط أحلامي صريعة، أرى آمالي تتحقق أوهاماً، وأراها نجمة متلألأة في الأفق البعيد، تقترب كثيراً وما تكاد تلامس الواقع، إلا وتنطفئ أضوائها، وتصبح صخرة صماء من الحسرة.
