كتاب المختصر للعلامة خليل المالكي، متن في فروع الفقه المالكي، وهو متن هام جدا ولقي قبولا من العلماء وأقبلوا عليه بالشرح والإيضاح، وكان من بينهم الإمام الحطاب الرعيني حيث شرح ألفاظه ومعانيه وبين المسائل الموجودة فيه وزاد في إيضاحها وأورد أدلتها الشرعية من الكتاب والسنة، وآراء أصحاب المذهب المالكي فيها . وقد أضفنا إليه كتاب التاج والإكليل لمختصر خليل لأبي عبد الله محمد بن يوسف المواق حيث نظر في نصوص العلامة خليل ونصوص أخرى لعلماء المذهب . وأثبت في حاشيته ما كان أقرب إلى الفهم من نصوص خليل أو النصوص الأخرى وهذه طبعة مضبوطة ومخرجة الآيات والأحاديث
