لا يمكن أن تتكلم عن الدرويش وعقلك حاضر لأن الدرويش شغله الشاغل الميدان الموجود داخله وهو النفس والقرين لأن كل المشاكل من النفس والقرين وكل ما عليه هو مجاهدتهما وإرجاع كل منهما إلى موضعه الذي وضع فيه. ثم إن الدرويش شديد الوعي بيد ذلك أنه دائمًا مغيب وكلامه كلام غيب والمقصود بالغيب هنا فعايل النفس والقرين التي هي بالفعل غائبة عن العقل، فهل غبت أنت أيها الكاتب بالذكر؟ هل ذكرت لا إله إلا الله إلى أن خرجت خارج الكون وسبحت في ملكوت آخر بعيد عن هذه الضجة والكآبة المصطنعة من وهم سببه النفس والقرين؟
