تهدف الدراسة التعرف على العلاقة بين تعرض الجمهور للمضامين السياسية الساخرة المقدمة بوسائل الإعلام والسخط السياسي لديه من خلال دراسة ميدانية استخدمت منهج المسح بالعينة وطبقت على عينة عشوائية منتظمة بلغ قوامها ٤٠٠ مفردة ممن يقيمون بالريف والحضر، واعتمدت على الاستبيان في جمع البيانات وتوصلت الدراسة لمجموعة من النتائج أهمها:- وجود علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين تعرض الجمهور للمضامين السياسية الساخرة المقدمة بوسائل الإعلام والسخط السياسي لديه.- وجود طردية دالة إحصائيا بين مستوى ثقة المبحوثين في المضامين السياسية الساخرة المقدمة بوسائل الإعلام والسخط السياسي لديه.- وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات العينة على مقياس السخط السياسي وفقا لمتغيرات النوع لصالح الذكور، المستوى الاجتماعي الاقتصادي لصالح ذوو المستوى المتوسط، السن لصالح الذين تتراوح أعمارهم من 20 إلى أقل من 30 سنة.- وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات العينة على مقياس التعرض للمضامين السياسية الساخرة المقدمة بوسائل الإعلام وفقا لمتغيرات النوع لصالح الذكور، المستوى التعليمي لصالح الذين يحملون مؤهلات جامعية.
