من مواليد يوليو عام 1938 بمدينة المحلة الكبرى
** وقد تخرج في كلية الآداب (قسم الفلسفة) ، جامعة القاهرة عام 1958 وعمل بالصحافة فور تخرجه في مؤسسة فرانكلين للطباعة و النشر في القاهرة
* شارك في الموسوعة الفلسفية المختصرة تحت إشراف أستاذه المفكر الكبير (زكي نجيب محمود) ، ثم انتقل إلي مؤسسة التأليف و الترجمة و النشر "هيئة الكتاب حاليا" ، ثم عمل مستشارا ثقافيا لمؤسسة المريخ للنشر بالسعودية ، و ذلك بمكت من مواليد يوليو عام 1938 بمدينة المحلة الكبرى
** وقد تخرج في كلية الآداب (قسم الفلسفة) ، جامعة القاهرة عام 1958 وعمل بالصحافة فور تخرجه في مؤسسة فرانكلين للطباعة و النشر في القاهرة
* شارك في الموسوعة الفلسفية المختصرة تحت إشراف أستاذه المفكر الكبير (زكي نجيب محمود) ، ثم انتقل إلي مؤسسة التأليف و الترجمة و النشر "هيئة الكتاب حاليا" ، ثم عمل مستشارا ثقافيا لمؤسسة المريخ للنشر بالسعودية ، و ذلك بمكتبها بالقاهرة في مايو 01978
** اختير عضوا بالمجالس القومية المتخصصة في شعبة الآداب عام 1985 ، إلي جانب حرصه علي الكتابة للأهرام و التدريس في المعهد العالي للفنون
كما كان محررا لباب أدبي في مجلة الإذاعة و التليفزيون بعنوان " ثقافة بالألوان " و كان يقدم برنامجا تليفزيونيا متخصصا باسم " تياترو"
** من أهم مؤلفاته :-
- من الوجودية إلي العبث – الضحك فلسفة و فن – سقوط الأقنعة – الكلمة ضمير العصر – ثقافة بلا دموع – تياترو النقد المسرحي – جيل وراء جيل – لن يسدل الستار –صرخات في وجه العصر
حصل علي جائزة المؤتمر الإسلامي عن حقيقة الفلسفات الإسلامية عام 1959
