• تلقى تعليمه العالي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فحصل على شهادة الماجستير في الإدارة من جامعة منيسوتا عام 1966، ثم حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في الإدارة العامة من الجامعة الأمريكية بواشنطن في مطلع عام 1970.
• تدرج في السلك الأكاديمي فحصل على درجة أستاذ عام 1979.
• عمل عميداً لكلية التجارة , وكلية العلوم الاجتماعية , وكلية الدراسات العليا، مستشار في عدة هيئات علمية, وعضو في هيئة تحرير المجلة العربية للإدارة, ومجلة العلوم الاجتماعية.
• له العديد من المؤلفات والدواوين الشعرية.

أمريكا الجنوبية هي إحدى قارات العالم الجديد تقع في القسم الغربي لخط جرينتش في نصف الأرض الغربي، معظم كتلتها تقع في نصف الأرض الجنوبي، مع جزء صغير نسبياً في نصف الكرة الشمالي يمر بها خط الاستواء في أجزائها الشمالية تبلغ مساحتها: 17,840 مليون كم² وعدد سكانها فى حدود 422.5 مليون حسب احصاء عام 2016.
