سعيد بن علي بن وهف القحطاني صاحب كتاب حصن المسلم، من مواليد قرية العرين من بلاد قحطان سنة 1371 هـ، وهو إمام مسجد سعودي، بلغ مجموع مؤلفاته قرابة الثمانين مؤلفا أبرزها كتاب حصن المسلم، وهو من أهم مؤلفاته. توفي يوم الإثنين 21 محرم 1440 هـ الموافق 1 أكتوبر 2018.

هذه رسالة مختصرة في «الطاغوت: الحكم بالقوانين الوضعية، والأعراف، والعادات الجاهلية القبلية»، بيّنت فيها ما ينبغي بيانه في وجوب تحكيم كتاب اللَّه وسنّة رسوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - في جميع شؤون الحياة، وتحريم التحاكم إلى غير ما أنزل اللَّه - عز وجل - على رسوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، كما بيّنت تحريم الإسلام للحكم بالعادات، والأعراف الجاهلية القبلية، فإنها مثل القوانين الوضعية لا يجوز التحاكم إليها
