رواية تتناول حكاية فتاه من أسرة مغتربة بدأت حياتها طالبة تمارس ما تمارسه الفتيات من علاقات عابرة مع الشباب، ولكنها تدرك خطورة ذلك ووقعه علي أسرتها فتقلع عن ذلك وتكمل تعليمها الجامعي وتحاول البحث عن عمل ولكنها لم تحصل إلا على عمل لدى صديقة لها تمارس حل المشاكل الأسرية وفي العمل تتم خطبتها إلى شاب مغربي ورغم ظروفه المادية الضعيفة إلا أنهما يتعاونا في إنشاء أسرة وبيت وينجبا أطفال ويتحابا وبعد مجموعة من الأحداث منها فقد الزوج لعمله بعد عودته من الإجازه وقسوة الكفيل وعدم إعطاءه حقوقه ثم اللحاق بعمل آخر.. يموت الزوج فجأه لتجد نفسها في ظروف صعبة
