عبدالجواد عبدالحفيظ طايل (مصر).
ولد عام 1951 في القاهرة.
حاصل على بكالوريوس تجارة من جامعة عين شمس 1974, وليسانس في الأدب العربي من نفس الجامعة 1985.
يعمل مراقب حسابات في الجهاز المركزي للمحاسبات, ومراقباً بإدارة الصحافة بمؤسسة الأهرام, وقد أعير للعمل بالهيئة السعودية للمحاسبين القانونيين بالرياض.
شارك في العديد من المهرجانات الشعرية, كما قام بتأليف العديد من البرامج الأدبية للإذاعة.
ينشر إنتاجه في الصحف العربية والمصرية.
دواوينه الشعرية : ولكني أحبك 1980 - مملكة الحب 1982 - أشواق وأشواك 1985 ـ والحب كان الثمن 1992 - هذا هو القمر 1999.
حصل على جائزة وزارة الثقافة 1980, وحقق المركز الأول في الشعر على مستوى الجمهورية من المجلس الأعلى للثقافة 1982.
ممن كتبوا عنه: أحمد طاهر حسنين في كتابه: التراث والمعاصرة, وأنيس منصور في كتابه: أنتم الناس أيها الشعراء, بالإضافة إلى عدد من الدراسات المتناثرة في الصحف والمجلات العربية بأقلام: جلال العشري, وفتحي العشري, وجابر قميحة, وإبراهيم عوض, وعاطف جودة, وحامد أبو أحمد, وغيرهم.
