يبحث هذا الكتاب عن طب الطبيعة وطرق الوقاية الطبيعية. وقد خلق الإنسان بين أحضان الطبيعة، فما أجدره بدراستها ومعرفة أسرارها، ليستفيد من نفحاتها، ويتق أضرارها، فالإنسان يعيش وسط الهواء، لا يفلت منه أينما كان، ومعظم جسم الإنسان من ماء "وخلقنا من الماء كل شيء حي" ولا يستغنى الإنسان عن الماء، وتتساقط على الإنسان أشعة الشمس، أشعة ضوئية مرئية، وأخرى خفية غير منظورة، وقد أثبت العلم أن الشمس والإضاءة تأثيرا كبيرا على الصحة، وأن من الأشعة غير المنظورة أشعة ما دون البنفسجية التي تزيد في مقاومة جسم الإنسان للأمراض، وتزيد في مقدار كرات الدم البيضاء وتنقص ضغط الدم وتشفي نسبة كبيرة من مرضى السل، وهذه الأشعة لابد من معرفة أسرارها، واستخدامها بمقدار مناسب، وكم سبب عدم التعرض للشمس والهواء كثيرا من الأمراض مثل فقر الدم ولين العظام والبرد والسل.
