الحمدُ للهِ ربِّ العالمين، والصلاةُ والسلامُ على أشرفِ المرسلين، سيدِنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه، ومن سارَ على دربهِ بإحسانٍ إلى يوم الدين، أما بعد: فهذا بحث مقدم لنيل درجة الماجستير في الأدب المقارن وعنوانه "أوجه التلاقي والاختلاف بين الأدب الإنجليزي والأدب العربي شكسبير أنموذجًا" دراسة مقارنة". وقد حاولت الباحثة أن تطبقَ منهجَ المدرسةِ الأمريكية على الحكايات العربية التراثية من ألف ليلة وليلة، ومقارنتها بمسرحيات شكسبير، كما تناولت الباحثة التشابه والتلاقي بين مسرحيات شكسبير ومسرحيات عربية حديثة، من منظورٍ مقارنٍ بالمنهج الأمريكي. وقد اشتمل البحث على: مقدمة، وتمهيد، وستة فصول، وخاتمة، وتحدثت الباحثة في المقدمة عن موضوع الدراسة وخطتها ومنهجها والدراسات السابقة. "التمهيد، وقد احتوى على: " مفاهيم الأدب المقارن. " المقارنة بين منهجي المدرسة الفرنسية ومنهج المدرسة الأمريكية. ويلي التمهيد ستة فصول مقسمة على بابين، وهي كالآتي: " الباب الأول: بعنوان ملامح عربية وعلاقتها بشكسبير، فقد تناول ثلاثة فصول تحتوي على ثمانية مباحث، وهي كالآتي: الفصل الأول: المشابهات المتقاربة من التراث العربي ألف ليلة وليلة ومسرحية عطيل لشكسبير. الفصل الثاني: ديك الجن الحمصي ومسرحية عطيل شكسبير. الفصل الثالث: الحكايات العربية وترويض النمرة لشكسبير. أما الباب الثاني بعنوان الجماليات الشكسبيرية في الأدب العربي، فقد تناول ثلاثة فصول تحتوي على ستة مباحث وهي: الفصل الأول: تاجر البندقية لشكسبير ومسرحية "شايلوك الجديد" لعلي أحمد باكثير. الفصل الثاني: مسرحية هاملت لشكسبير ومسرحية هاملت يستيقظ متأخرًا لممدوح عدوان. الفصل الثالث: مسرحية أنطونيوس وكليو بطرة لشكسبير، ومسرحية "مصرع كليوبترا" لأحمد شوقي. وقد انتهت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج وتوصيات ذكرتها الباحثة في خاتمة الدراسة، يليها قائمة بالمصادر والمراجع. وصلى الله وسلم على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم تسليمًا كثيرًا
