خريج من كلية طب المنصورة وتخصص بمجال جراحة الأنف والأذن والحنجرة .
بدأ كتابة الرواية مع محاولتين روائيتين قصيرتين عام 2008 هما حسناء القطار وكاسانو.
وفي أكتوبر 2010 صدرت له أولى رواياته الطويلة (أرض زيكولا) عن دار صرح للنشر والتوزيع، قبل أن تُنشر مجددًا مع دار عصير الكتب للنشر والتوزيع في عام 2015 وبعدها في يناير 2016 صدرت له روايته (أماريتا) وهي الجزء الثانى من رواية أرض زيكولا وكما ألف رواية ثالثه عنونت بقواعد چارتين صدرت في يناير 2018 ورواية دقات الشامو الجزء الثاني من قواعد چارتين في يناير ٢٠١٩

ما زلت أتذكر ذلك التجمع الغريب لأقاربنا في بيتنا يوم ذهاب أبي وأمي لتسلُّم أختي من مخفر شرطة المدينة، كلهم حضروا إلى بيتنا باكرًا في صباح ذلك اليوم من أجل رؤية المولودة الجديدة، والتفّوا حول شاشة التلفاز مُنصتين إلى قائمة الأسماء الطويلة التي كانت تتلوها مذيعةٌ شابَّة.. إلى حين عودة أبي وأمي، قبل أن يهلِّلوا عندما ذكرت تلك المذيعة اسم أختي، سألتُ خالتي بدهشة مما يحدث:
- هل تجمعتم هكذا يوم ذهاب أبي وأمي لإحضاري من المدينة؟!
قالت:
- لا، لم يذهب أبوكِ وأمكِ أصلًا إلى المدينة لتسلُّمكِ، إنَّكِ مثل بقية أطفال القرية.. تسلَّمكِ أبواكِ من مخفر القرية المحلي، أما سوزان فالوضع يختلف معها بعض الشيء، إنَّها من ذوات الياقة الزرقاء.
قبل أن تتنهد، وتردف:
- لقد أرسل الله إلى عائلتنا تلك الطفلة في الوقت المناسب تمامًا.
