"أهلكتنا الطرق، نتأقلم على ما لم يشبهنا، نذهب إلى المكان الذي يرشدنا إليه التيار، ونقبع بداخله منتظرين الحياة تأتي إلينا بينما لم نخطو لها قط، نغمض أعيننا تارة، ونتصدَّى الصدمات تارةٍ أخرى، لكننا في النهاية نتأقلم، نترك الخوف يتملَّكنا ويتحكم في مصائرنا؛ الخوف من الضياع، يجعلنا خاضعين للتأقلم. التأقلم أبسط حل يمكنك إيجاده، يخدعك بالأمان لكنه لا يشبهك دائمًا. نسير في دائرة بحث عن العدم، لا ينجو منها إلًّا الذي فهم معناها ومغزاها، ولم يحاول فهمها، من ينظر إلى النضج بعين البساطة والتجريد. انظروا إلى حيث جئتم! فإننا جميعًا نمتلك فِطرة مخضعة بأيدينا البشرية التي أفسدتها غشاوة أعيننا، وجار عليها الزمن حتى امتلأت بالأتربة، الشيء الوحيد الذي ينجينا من هذا الغبار؛ هو الأمان الحقيقي.
بعد أعوامٍ من استهلاك مشاعر زائفة في علاقة غير صادقة ومرهقة، تقرر التخلِّي عن كل شيء، وتتجه حيث يرشدها قلبها. طريق الأمان؛ ممتلئ بالتعثرات والسقوط، لكنه لا يهزم من يسير فيه أبدًا، هل ستُهزَم تلك المرَّة ثانيةً؟"
