حرص النبي منذ أن نزل عليه القرآن الكريم؛ أن يكون هو المنهج والفكرة المركزية التي يتربى عليها الفرد المسلم، والأسرة المسلمة، والجماعة المسلمة، وكان روح القدس ينزل بالآيات غَضَّة طرية على رسول الله ، فيسمعها الصحابة من فم رسول الله مباشرة، فتسكب في قلوبهم، وتتسرب في أرواحهم، وتجري في عروقهم مجرى الدم، وكانت قلوبهم وأرواحهم تتفاعل مع القرآن الكريم وتنفعل به، فيتحول الواحد منهم إلى إنسان جديد، بقيمه ومشاعره، وأهدافه، وسلوكه وتطلعاته.
لقد حرص الرسول حرصًا شديدًا على أن يكون القرآن الكريم وحده هو المادة الدراسية، والمنهج الذي تتربى عليه نفوس أصحابه.
وكان منهج الصحابة في تربيتهم بالقرآن الكريم ؛ منهج التلقي للتطبيق والتنفيذ ؛ فكانوا يكتفون بعشر آيات حتى يحفظونها ويعملون بها؛ ثم يتلقون آيات أخرى ؛كان تلقيهم للقرآن الكريم بروح المعرفة المنشئة للعمل .
فلابد من تربية الأجيال الحالية على خطى ذلك الجيل الذي رباه المصطفى ، تربية تحمل الفرد على التمسك بكتاب الله تعالى، وتُقَوِّم سلوكه على تلك التعاليم والأخلاق الفاضلة التي يدعو إليها. وهذا ما نجده في هذا الكتاب .
