لاشك أن كسب العقول لا يتم إلا بالكلمات، فالكلمة هي أداة القدرة على كشف جميع السبل الممكنة للإقناع في كل مجال بعينه، ولما كان الإلقاء فن يعتمد على الخطابة ، والخطابة فن يعتمد على الكلمة والكلمة روح التواصل الإنساني لتوصيل مجموعة من المعلومات لجمهور المستمعين ، فإن هذا الكتاب المرجعي – في تقديري الشخصي – يعتبر رافد قوي وحيوي من روافد الإتصال بين الناس وللناس.
ويضم هذا الكتاب بين دفتيه ثلاثة أبواب هي :
1- باب قواعد علم الإلقاء .
2- باب الحديث .
3- باب مهارات الكتابة .
الباب الأول :
يتكون من خمسة وعشرين فصلاً تختص بقواعد الصوت والنطق ومخارج الحروف وتصنيف الأصوات اللغوية وكذلك الوحدة الزمنية لها في الأداء الذي يعتمد على التلوينات الصوتية وأثرها البالغ في طبيعة الإلقاء ذاته ومكامن القوة والضعف فيه.
الباب الثاني:
يتكون من ثمانية فصول تلقي الضوء على مهارات الحديث ومستلزماته ومراجع الإتصال وما تختصه الممارسات العملية للحديث والتخاطب، كونها عملية فنية لا يتم إكتسابها إلا بالتدريب والتخطيط الجيد، لكون " الحديث والتخاطب" يتبلوران ويزدهران ويتمكنان من أداء دورهما الوظيفي بجودة الإعداد لهما من حيث التوجيه والتقييم لتحقيق الهدف المرجو من الإتصال ومخاطبة العقول بشكل عام.
الباب الثالث:
يتكون من خمسة فصول، تختص بالضوابط والقواعد العامة والتخطيط لفن "الكتابة" المؤثرة للمساعدة في تلافي السلبيات، حتى تحقق الدور الرئيس لبنائها، والدور الرئيس للهدف منها الذي يجذب إنتباه القارئ ويؤثر في عقله ومشاعره ، وهي كلها أمور تتعلق بمهارات "الكتابة" التي تعتمد أول ما تعتمد على الإستماع والحديث، ويركز هذا الباب بفصوله الخمسة على أن ميادين الأعمال كافة لا يمكنها الإستغناء عن الكتابة ، بل ولا يستطيع أحد أن يقلل من قيمتها ومن شأن تأثيرها على العقول في وقتنا الحاضر، لما لها من قوة على إحتلال جانباً كبيراً من حياتنا وأنشطتنا اليومية التي تتناول شتى جوانب الحياة الإنسانية بكل فروعها المادية والمعنوية، تلك الفروع التي تربط الإنسان بماضيه، وتصوغ حاضره، وتخطط مستقبله.
