في ليلة تشرينية باردة من اليوم الحادي عشر، الساعة الواحدة بعد منتصف الليل، استيقظت لأنني مُصابة بالحُمى، لم أستطع النوم أتحسس جبيني ومقلتي، أبحثُ عن دفتري قلمي في الظلمة الحالكة، لأكتب هلوساتي المتتالية، لهيب يحرق أنفاسي،أصابتني حُمى الجسد وحُمى الكتابة، شيء ما يدفعني للكتابة والبوح، وجعي يتشكل يتجسد لحروف وكلمات، هاهو القلم ثائراً علي، أشعر بزغللة بعيني، بدأت الكتابة في أول السطر، إمرأة مُصابة بالحُمى.
