تدور احداث الرواية عن طالب الهندسة المعماري المتفوق الذي تعرض لصدمة كبيرة جعلته يعيش في عزلة رفض تقبل ما حدث له مر من خلالها بخسارات عدة و صراعات اسرية ناتجه من حقد وغيرة اخاه الذي اثر على كل افراد اسرته ولم يسلم احد من شره ترصد الروايه ما فعله بأخوته وما ينتج عن نيران الحقد والحسد من اذى ودمار وقد كان ذلك سببا في تحوله وتغير حياته للنقيض تماما. ويعيش البطل وسط كل ما يمر به في حياته بحالة من العشق والهيام لفتاة من نسج خياله لا يفارقه طيفها ولم يفقد الامل للحظة من لقائها على ارض الواقع.
