كمال جنبلاط رجل أسطورة، جاهد وناضل طوال سنين حياته من أجل الإنسان ورفع مستوى حياة هذا الكائن البشري على جميع الأصعدة، وفي كافّة المجالات، شغل العالم بفكره وعلمه وسعة إطّلاعه وقدراته الهائلة، ونظرته المستقبلية الثاقبة لكافّة أوجه الحياة.
من يقرأ لجنبلاط يدرك أنه عالِم فيلسوف، مفكِّر وفي كلمة جامعة إنسان حكيم، هذه الحكمة والروحانيّة التي تحلّى بها كانت عميقة الجذور والأثر، وهي من نسيج خاصّ ارتقت إلى مستوى كشف الحُجب في ذات جنبلاط، فرفعته بعناية، وساعدته في كلّ أمور حياته، فبرز بإنسانيّته، ونبله وتواضعه، وميله للحياة البسيطة الهانئة، فكان كمال جنبلاط بشخصه وشخصيّته الفذّة، وروحانيّته العميقة.
الروحانيّات هي الجانب غير المادّي في حياة الفرد أو الجماعة، هي ذروة الإتّجاه الأخلاقي، ثمَّ الديني، ثمَّ العرفاني، أي الذي يتجاوز الدين كفكر، ويغدو أقرب إلى التصوّف، والروحانيّات التي يدرسها المؤلف عند كمال جنبلاط هي مجموع مواقفه في المسألة الدينية ومظاهر إيمانه الديني، ثمَّ مظاهر تجاوزه للمعتقد الديني نحو شيء أعلى مختلف هو مزيج من العقل والتصوّف والممارسات التي قد تكون اليوغا أو العرفان أو أكبر من ذلك.
وقد اهتمت المؤلفة بموضوع الروحانيات عند جنبلاط وبالرغم من الأقلام الكثيرة والمؤلَّفات التي كتبت عنه، وما ثرياً بإستمرار بموضوعات جديدة تنتظر البحث فيها، والروحانيّات إحدى هذه الموضوعات، وهذا الجانب لم يكتب فيه الكثير ويحتاج إلى البحث والتوثيق والدراسة.
