من بداية الرواية، يتشوق القارئ إلى الاستزادة من سير أحداثها. يختلط فيها الواقع بالخيال، في الزمان والمكان والأحداث، حتى ليخيل للقارئ من بلدان العالم الثالث أنه يعيش تلك الأحداث، أو أنها تصف الحياة في بلده. 33449 بطلتها السيدة الأولى، ذات الأصول الأرستقراطية، لا يبهرها جاه ولا سلطان، ولا حياة التراف التي يؤمنها لها موقعها، بل تسخر، على طريقتها، من كل ذلك، أنها، وهي ذات الضمير الحي، تعيش التناقض بين شعارات زوجها الرئيس الملك، وواقع الحياة التي يفرضها على شبعه مستغلاً تلك الشعارات. 33449 لن تكفي أسطر قليلة للتعريف بالرواية، ولن أفسد متعة القارئ بالإشارة إلى نهايتها، ولا ضرورة للتعريف بكاتبها مع أنها ليست إنتاجه الأول، فهذه الرواية خير ما يعرف به ويبشر بروائي قل نظيره لغة، وأفكاراً، وأحساساً، وإبداعاً.
