يأتي كتاب "بلوجستان الكبرى – دراسة في الأرض والإنسان" بهدف التعريف بأرض بلوجستان وبشعبها ذي الروابط التاريخية المتينة وذي الآمال المشتركة مع الشعب العربي والشعوب التي يشكل جزءاً من سياداتها الوطنية وشعوب المناطق الأخرى وهي جميعها تناضل من أجل التنمية والبناء.
يُعرّف كتاب بلوجستان بأنها من أشهر بلدان الخلافة الإسلامية الشرقية، وجزء من التاريخ الإسلامي وبعض من مكان انتشار الحضارة العربية الإسلامية، توالت على أرضها إمارات عربية حاكمة .. ولا تزال ترتبط أرضاً وشعباً مع نضال شعوب المنطقة من أجل التحرر ورفض كل أشكال العنف والإضطهاد القومي كافة وممارسة التعامل الأخوي والديمقراطي بين القوميات ضمن السيادات الوطنية.
سوف نتعرف عبر صفحات الكتاب على مناطق بلوجستان جغرافياً وكيف تحدى "البلوشي" صعوبات الطبيعة وكيف قاوموا الغزاة عبر مراحل التاريخ، وكذلك قاوموا موجات الهمجية كافة، وخصوصاً تلك التي كانت تعبر بلادهم. وفي التاريخ الحديث قاوموا قوات الإحتلال البريطاني لدرجة أن هذه القوات اضطرت أن تهدم مدينة (كلات) بكاملها.
قسم الكتاب بابين يتفرع عنها ثمان فصول: يبحث الباب الأول في الأرض ويشتمل على أربعة فصول: الفصل الأول والثاني يدرس (المساحة والموقع الجغرافي)، الفصل الثالث (المناخ والموارد المائية)، الفصل الرابع (الغطاء الحياتي والتربة). أما الباب الثاني فيبحث في الإنسان كبناء بشري. ويضم الفصل الخامس (الإستيطان البشري – الأساس التاريخي). أما الفصل السادس (خصائص عامة في الحياة الإجتماعية)، الفصل السابع (خصائص ديموغرافية عامة)، الفصل الثامن والأخير (بلوجستان والتطلعات السياسية).
