في تجاويف الذات والأنا لدى الشاعرة، بحث دائم عن فحوى المشاعر والأحاسيس، عن معاني إثبات وجود الكائن وعلاقته بالآخر، والبحث فيما بعد بالمتبقي من هذه العلاقة كي يصبح هو جوهرها: "سخرية القدر أن تلتقي العيون دون كلام، فتهبّ نار الهوى لتحرق المكان، أشواق وحنين وعناق وحنان، قبلات وابتسامات وغزل وهيام، فتعلو الضحكات وتتسامر العيون ويهمس الكلام، وبعد وهلة يفترق الإثنان، وكأن شيئاً ما كان".
موسيقى تصدح في هذا الشعر الوجداني الذي يبدو وكأنه لا يأبه بالحزن والمرارة والفقدان، بل إنه يحول كل ذلك إلى كلمات شعرية وأوزان. لابنها الراحل تقول: "رجلاً كبيراً ما عرفتك، على مشارف الدنيا ما جاريتك، لأنني هدية للربّ قدمتك، ملاكاً للسماء جندّتك، وجسداً في التراب حفرتَك."
"زد على شهداء الحب شهيدة طعنت بسهام العيون، فسقطت لا حول ولا قوة فاستسلمت واسترسلت.."، شهيدة للحب تتغنى به وتتغنى بشوق: "ما يفصلني عن عينيه جبال مكدسّة بالسنين وحواجز، من طين اليقين"، بتوبة: "أذابني الحب وسرت خلف الشهوات في كل مكان، ولكن حبك علمني التوبة وبحثت عن الغفران"، وبحسرة :"من ينجيني من نار عينيك ومن لي بعدك أيها المختار؟"، وبكبرياء المخدوع: "إحمل حقيبة خداعك"، "ولو مهما علا صراخك، فلن ينفعك ندمك، بعد أن كان النصر لك".
تعيش في الغربة وتتألم "كم بكيت غربتي وتمنيت أن أطأ أرض لبنان"، وتطلب الرأفة لمدينتها بيروت: "أين الرحمة على مدينة الحبّ؟"، "دعوها رفقا بالأرحام".
تقول للشاعر سعيد عقل: "أنت بحبك عظيم وشعرك ملك حلّ، "إنعم بالسلام فمدرستك خالدة وتخرّج الشعراء".
في هذا الديوان الشعري المميز، بوح صادق وجداني لذات شفافة حائرة، لحقت بمشاعر الحب المتنوعة، سكرت به، وتلقت سعير حممه ومخلّفاتها.
