يتناول الكتاب في فصوله الأحد عشر الأطفال الموهوبين في العالم العربي، حيث يستعرض الفصل الأول من الكتاب الأطفال الموهوبين والخوارق في الغرب. ويتناول الفصل الثاني الطفل الخارق سمبر من حيث خصائصه وسماته، أما الفصل الثالث فيتناول الطفل البحريني آيه كحالة خاصة، وحمل الفصل الرابع في عنوانه الرئيسي 50 موهوبة من العالم العربي وهي عبارة عن دراسة السير الذاتية لهن، ثم انتقل المؤلف في الفصل الخامس لاستعراض 226 موهوبا من السودان، وهي أيضا دراسة للسير الذاتية لهؤلاء الموهوبين، وكان الفصل السادس بعنوان تكييف مقياس وكسلر لذكاء الأطفال في السودان واليابان، ويأتي الفصل السابع ليقارن بين موهبة الأطفال في اليابان والسودان، ويتطرق المؤلف في الفصل الثامن للموهبة الموسيقية عند الأطفال، ثم يستعرض في الفصل التاسع توطين أساليب الكشف عن الموهوبين من خلال مشروع طائر السمبر
