تروي "جد الحمير" قصة مهر أدى به العناد والطمع إلى مصير بائس لا يحسد عليه لينال بعده وباستحقاق لقب "جد الحمير".
ويظهر الطمع كذلك في قصة "القناعة"، ليوقع صاحبه في المتاعب، فيما يحظى القانع بما لم ين ليحلم به. فكيف حدث كل ذلك؟
