يتناول هذا الكتاب التعريف بواحد من هؤلاء العلماء الأفذاذ الذين بذلوا جهداً كبيراً في مجال تفسير القرآن الكريم وبيانه، وهو الإمام نظام الدين الحسن بن محمد القمي النيسابوري، كما يتناول دراسة تفسيره الموسوم بـ "غرائب القرآن ورغائب الفرقان"، دراسة تحليلية نقدية، بغية الكشف عن المنهجية العلمية التي اعتمدها في تعامله مع القرآن الكريم.
وتحقيقاً لهذه الغاية فقد جاء الكتاب في سبعة أبواب ترسم بمجموعها صورة مفصلة عن النيسابوري ومنهجه في التفسير.
تناول الباب الأول تعريفاً موجزاً بعصر النيسابوري، وعرض لنشأته وثقافته. واهتم الباب الثاني ببيان المصادر المختلفة التي اعتمدها النيسابوري في تفسيره. واعتنى الباب الثالث ببيان آراء النيسابوري في بعض مباحث علوم القرآن وأثرها في منهجه في التفسير. واهتم الباب الرابع بالكشف عن منهج النيسابوري في تعامله مع القضايا اللغوية والنحوية. وجاء الباب الخامس ليبرز أهم القضايا العقدية التي عرض لها النيسابوري في تفسيره. وخصص الباب السادس للحديث عن منهج النيسابوري وطريقته في التعامل مع القضايا الفقهية. وجاء الباب السابع والأخير ليرسم صورة واضحة عن الاسرائيليات وموقف النيسابوري منها.
وقد حرص الكاتب، ما وسعه الجهد، أن يتحرى الدقة فيما يكتب، وأن يتبع منهجاً علماً وموضوعياً فيما يعرض له من أبحاث وقضايا، ورغم حرص الكاتب على الوقوف مع كثير من القضايا العلمية التي عرض لها النيسابوري إلا أن ما تميز به هذا التفسير من سعة وشمول، وما اشتمل عليه من تحقيقات علمية نافعة، وفوائد تفسيرية قيمة، يستدعي إجراء مزيد من الدراسات حوله.
