هذا تصنيف لطيف في الخيل، لخصه المؤلف من مصنف الشيخ "شرف الدين الدمياطي"، وأضاف إليه أشياء، ورتبه بحيث يسهل منه التعاطي، واقتصر فيه على فصول سبعة تناولت ما يلي: الأمر بارتباطها، وما يستحب من ألوانها وذكر صفاتها، وما يكره من شياتها، وما جاء من أسمائها، ثانياً: فضل ما اتخذ للجهاد منها في سبيل الله عز وجل، وما جاء في مسح نواصيها وأكفالها وبركتها، ذكر محبة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لها واستحباب تحبيسها في سبيل الله، التماس نسلها ونمائها والمواضع التي تختار فيها الإناث والذكور في الجهاد، خامساً: النهي عن قطعها وخصائها وجز نواصيها وأذنابها، سادساً: ذكر سباقها وما يحل وما يحرم من أسباقها، وأخيراً فيما يستحقه صاحبها الحاضر بها في الجهاد من الغنيمة، وهل تجب فيها الزكاة أم لا\
