وقبلَ أنْ يغدوَ رمادًا أتسلَّلُ منْ مدارِه عَلِّي أصلُ إليكَ
بالأمسِ - وللمرَّةِ الأولى - ترفَّقَ بي الفينيقُ
لمْ يغدُ رمادًا
طارَ بي بعيدًا بعيدًا....
تحتَ السِّدرةِ كنَّا ندورُ
ندورُ ثمَّ ندورُ
أردْنا أنْ نرسمَ قلبًا وحرفين
كما يفعلُ عاشقان صغيران
يتجرَّعان كأسَ الحبِّ للمرَّةِ الأولى
على السِّدرةِ ثمَّةَ صِغارٌ يطوفون بالعاشقين
كانوا يعابثون الفينيقَ
ويصفِّقُ بأجنحتِه
ما زلْنا نحاولُ أنْ نرسمَ قلبًا وحرفين
عادَ الفينيقُ إلى الأرضِ وحيداً
يا بؤسَها الأحلام!
