بلغة حائرة، لا تملّ من تعقب البحث عن إرادة الله وثوابه، استطاعت الشاعرة اللبنانية "نجاة أحمد حجازي" وبأسلوب لطيف دمث أن تشير إلى علاقة التلازم بين الذات المؤمنة، وبين حب الوطن والأهل والأصدقاء.
هي إبنة الجنوب اللبناني ترى العالم بذرات ترابه وبدخان قراه، حتى أن لغتها الشعرية اكتسبت ميزتها من غناها بالرموز والإشارات التي تحمل صيحات هذا الجنوب، تسوقها الشاعرة بوصف لكل تفاصيل الحياة اليومية ومفرداتها. إذ لا انفصام بين ما تكتبه الشاعرة وما تعيشه، حيث الحنين للطفولة، وإلى أحضان الأب، وحنان الأم ...
في قصيدة بعنوان [أَحنُّ إليك] تقول الشاعرة:
"أبي ... / أحنُّ إليك / فأكتب لأجل عينينك ... / تصلك رسالتي ... وتتأثر بحالتي ... / فتسيل دمعتي / أبي ... / لأجلك، عيني لم تنمِ / كسرت قلمي / ودفنتُ ألمي / لأرجع على وجنتيك بريق المبسم (...) ".
أما عن الوطن فتقول في قصيدة بعنوان [بلدي]:
"في بلدي .. / الظلم سائد / والفقر مستقر / والموظف شحاذ فقير ! / في بلدي / العدل مستباح / والعمر رخيص / أما الحر فأسير / والحلم يا بلدي ... ذنب خطير ...".
يضم الديوان ما يقارب الـ (47) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث، نذكر من عناوينها: "همسات" ، "صرخة قلب" ، " مناجاتي" ، "أبي" ، "أحن إليك" ، "أمي" ، "فارس الصحراء" ، "ألم الذكرى" ... الخ.
