بين يدينا دراسة تبحث في فلسفة الحكم عند الإمام علي رضي الله عنه، بحث الفصل الأول منها في الجانب الأخلاقي، وتناول الثاني الجانب السياسي، أما الفصل الثالث فتطرق للجانب المالي، وروى الفصل الرابع فلسفة الإمام في جوانبها الثلاثة من حيث صلتها بظروف التاريخ وملابساته، في النصف الأول من القرن الأول الهجري.
وتكون هذا الفصل من قسمين: بحث القسم الأول منهما في أوجه الشبه بين سيرة النبي وسيرة الإمام من جهة، ويتطرق إلى جوانب الاختلاف بين الظروف التي عاش كل منهما فيها من جهة أخرى. وتناول القسم الثاني ضروب المقاومة التي بدأها الانتهازيون وذوو المصالح المركزة لإحباط سياسة الإمام الرامية إلى تطبيق مبدأ المساواة بين المسلمين في شتى مناحي الحياة، وفق نصوص القرآن وسيرة النبي.
