هذا الكتاب يتحدث فيه مؤلفه عن أمل، ولا يجزم أن تحققه مؤكد، لأن حدوث مثل هذا التغيير النوعي والكبير في الثقافة الغربية يحتاج الى وقت طويل كما الى جهد تراكمي من مثقفي الغرب الأحرار، وإلى جهد مماثل من المثقفين العرب والمسلمين أيضاً؛ ذلك أن دور المثقف العربي والإسلامي في توعية نظيره الغربي بحقيقة ما يجري في المنطقة، وبخطأ المسلمات التي رسختها الدعاية الامبريالية الصهيونية في العقل الغربي ما زال محدوداً وقليل الفاعلية. ثم إن هذا المثقف لم ينجح بعد في مخاطبة الغرب بلغته وبخطاب عقلاني وموضوعي بعيد عن التعصّب وردة الفعل. ومن هنا ضرورة التأكيبد على أن يتحمل المثقفون العرب مسؤوليتهم كاملة في هذا المجال، قبل مطالبة ثقافة الآخر بذلك.
