في "أنا وأنتَ وقهوتي" تنطلق الشاعرة ثريا الصلح من حالة مثقلة بالرومانسية ومرهقة بالذكريات، وطافحة بإفتقار الذات إلى إكتمالها بالآخر، الآخر الذي تستحضره الشاعرة مع صوت فيروز وفنجان قهوة "حتى تتقراه يدانا بلمس" على حد تعبير البحتري: "أنا وأنت وقهوتي وفيروزُ... وصدفةُ ذلك اللقاء... هي تُشبهُ إنساناً تعثّرَ في عطشه ينبوع ماء... وفي جوعِهِ بمائدةٍ عليها أجود أنواع الغذاء... وفي مرضيهِ بِدَواءٍ فعّالٍ سريعِ الشفاء...
هنا تبدو الشاعرة؛ وكأنها تجمع متوالياتها الذهنية والحسية من خزينها الذاكروي لتصبها في لقطات شعرية، مؤسسة على ضجيج الحروف، وقد أوكلت إليها الشاعرة مهمة البوح بما تشي أن تقول، وهي بهذا الفعل تحيل بظلالها إلى ثنائية جميلة بين رجل وامرأة بوصفهما صورة مكتملة، عن حياة جميلة، مدركة بوعي الشاعرة، تتحدى النهايات بتأييد البدايات "وأنت معي أطمئنُّ وأسكُن... وأشعر بأني بلغتُ الأحسن... فهل لي بسؤالٍ إذا أمكن... ما هو سرُّك وأنت من... لا تقل لي أنت الربيع من الزمن... فبعد كلِّ ربيعٍ يأتي خريفٌ أنا فيهِ أحزن...".
