وفي هذا الكتاب بحث في مسائل تتفاضل غموضاً وإبهاماً تتعلق بأمر البرزخ وتفاصيله وعذاب القبر وما يلحق به. وقد عمد المؤلف إلى إيراد ذلك مفصلاً في محاولة لرفع حجاب هذه المسائل بالبراهين المتقنة وبالاستدلال بالآيات البينة. جاعلاً المدخل إلى هذا كله يمر عبر الفلسفة الوصفية، سواء تلك التي وصلتنا من اليونان في العصور الغابرة أو التي جاءتنا من أوربا في العصور الغابرة. واتسمت مفاصل البحث جميعاً بالموضوعية الشديدة والحياد التام، وبالأسلوب المشرق وباللغة المبسطة.
