إن الجسد كيان يتموقع بين هذه الاهتمات التحليلية من غير أن ينحصر فيها، ومدلولاته تتعدد بحيث يصعب أحيانا حصرها أو الإلمام بها. والبحث فيه صار طليعة للبحث في الجماليات الفنية والاجتماعية وفي التحولات القيمية التي تعرفها مجتمعاتنا المعاصرة، في وقت صارت فيه الصورة إحدى مرادفاته التي تلتصق به وتغني معطياته الوجودية بهذا الشكل أو ذاك.
