جرائم الأموال هي الجرائم التي تستهدف الاعتداء على مال الغير بالسرقة والاحتيال وإساءة الائتمان وإعطاء شيك دون رصيد، ففي السرقة يستولي الفاعل على مال الغير بانتزاعه رغماً عن إرادة صاحبه، وفي الاحتيال يحمل الفاعل الغير على تسليمه المال عن طريق الحيلة والخداع، وفي إساءة الائتمان يستولي الفاعل على مال الغير الذي تسلمه على سبيل الأمانة سواء بموجب عقد من عقود الأمانة أو بحكم القانون أو القضاء، وقد ساعدت على ظهور هذه الجرائم أمور كثيرة من بينها ظهور الثورة الصناعية، وضعف النظام الاقتصادي، والبطالة وسقوط القانون، وفساد الحكم وغياب العولمة.
وفي هذا الكتاب يقدم المؤلف عرضاً شاملاً وافياً لهذه الجرائم وعناصرها حين يعرض لماهية السرقة ومجملها وأركانها كما يتحدث عن الشروع في السرقة وجنايات السرقة وجرائم السرقة الجنوحية. كما يعرض لجريمة الاستيلاء على مال الغير بالاحتيال وكيفيته حيث يعرف الشروع في جريمة الاحتيال بأنه البدء في تنفيذ فعل من الأفعال الظاهرة المؤدية إلى ارتكاب جناية أو جنحة. والشروع في الاحتيال هو البدء في تنفيذ فعل من الأفعال الظاهرة المؤدية لارتكاب الاحتيال.
ويعرض المؤلف كذلك لعقوبة جريمة الاحتيال، ويتطرق إلى الجرائم الملحقة بالاحتيال، كجريمة استغلال عديمي الأهلية وناقصيها وجريمة الاحتيال على الدائنين وجريمة الإفلاس الإحتيالي.
ويتطرق المؤلف إلى جريمة إصدار شيك دون رصيد، فيبين أنها من الجرائم الملحقة بجرائم الاحتيال وأن لهذه الجريمة خمس صور: الأولى فعل الإصدار، والثانية انعدام مقابل الوفاء أو عدم كفايته، والثالثة إصدار أمر للمسحوب عليه بعدم الوفاء، الرابعة تظهير الشيك دون أن يكون له مقابل، والخامسة منع صرف الشيك كما يبحث المؤلف في كل صورة من هذه الصور.
