أنها الحلقة الرابعة من سلسلة: "الحضارة العربية وتأثيرها في الغرب بعد أن نقلت إلى اللغة اللاتينية في القرون الوسطى".
الحلقة الأولى عنوانها: "عروق الذهب في مناجم الروم والعرب"، تتحدّث عن أفضل ما أنتجه العرب واليونان والفرس والهنود.
الحلقة الثانية عنوانها: "تعربت وتغربت" أي أن الحضارات الشرقية نقلت إلى العربية ثم انتقلت من العربية إلى اللاتينية ولغات أخرى أوروبية.
الحلقة الثالثة عنوانها: "تراثنا المفضال" أي تأثير الحضارة العربية في الحضارات الأوروبية، وهذه الحلقة هي تكملة للحلقة الثانية.
أما الحلقة الرابعة عنوانها: "شرق يعير وغرب يستعير" أنها تكملة للحلقة الثالثة تقع هذه الحلقات الأربع في الفين ومائتي صفحة تقريباً، عسى يجد فيها الباحثون بموضوع العلم المقارن، مساعداً وعضداً، والقارئ منفعة وفائدة.
