يشرح هذا الكتاب خطبة الزهراء الأولى والثانية وهو ثمرة من ثمار "مجلس الزهراء" الذي يقام إحياءاً لذكرى وفاتها.
"هي فاطمة بنت محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب، وبنت خديجة بنت خويلد... وسيدة نساء العالمين وأم الحسن والحسين أحفاد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم".
ما يميز هذا الكتاب هو أنه يدرس خطبة الزهراء دراسة موضوعية مستخلصاً عناصرها الأساسية بعيداً عن الإرتجال والعفوية، لهذا فالكاتب هنا يتكأ على عناصر عدة أهمها: أ- سندها، ب- ظروفها، جـ- الهيئة، د- الطريق، هـ- المكان، و- الجمهور الحضور، ز- الأسلوب القولي، ط- الموضوع والغرض.
يقسم هذا الكتاب إلى قسمين يضم القسم الأول عشرة دروس احتواها "مجلس الزهراء" ويشرح خطبتها الأولى، ثم القسم الثاني ويشرح خطبتها الثانية ويضم خمسة دروس وجميعها تشرح بالتفصيل خطبتي الزهراء من الناحية اللغوية والبلاغية والهدف منها أحقبة آل بيت الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بالخلافة، إضافة إلى ذكر للمآسي والخطوب التي مرت بهم في تاريخهم فيما بعد وفاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
ومن خطبة الزهراء نقتبس هذا المقطع "الحمد لله على ما أنعم، وله الشكر على ما ألهم، والثناء بما قدم، من عموم نعم ابتداها، وسبوغ آلاء أسداها، وتمام مننٍ أولاها، جم عن الإحصاء عددها، ونأى عن الجزاء أمدها، وتفاوت عن الإدراك أبدها، وندبهم لاستزادتها بالشكر لاتصالها، واستحمد إلى الخلائق بإجزالها، وثنى بالندب إلى أمثالها".
