كذلك يبحث الكتاب في تفصيل وذكر بعض الفرق والطوائف المندمجة بغيرها (بتعبير الكاتب) والماضية الحاضرة والأفكار التي تسلط عليها العقل المعقول والشيطان والهوى فتكلم على المادة 1- عند اليهود بأن العالم كله مادة تتحرك، 2- وحب المال، 3- وعند الشيوعية.
ويورد الكتاب أيضاً، عرضاً للمدارس التي تتحدث في صفات الله في التنزيه وعدم التشبيه والتمثيل. هذا الكتاب، سعي حثيث للرد على إشكالية طالما شغلت أذهان العامة، والخاصة من المفكرين، وهي أيهما أسبق الفكر أم المادة؟.
