"نقد المجتمع المعاصر"، المجتمع المتنافر، الغارق في خضم وسائل الإعلام الجماهيرية، وهو لا يكاد يفقه من آلياتها المعقدة وأهدافها الحقيقية شيئاً، ولذا تبدو المؤسسات الإقتصادية والدينية والسياسية والتربوية متخلفة على الدوام. بل إن الكنائس المستقرة تبدو متخلفة عن الثقافة الدينية. والإدارات والمؤسسات السياسية متخلفة بالنسية للمشكلات السياسية المطروحة. والجامعات متخلفة عن التعليم الأساسي الذي لا غنى عن تقديمه إلى الأجيال الشابة. والتنظيم الأقتصادي والتجاري متخلفان عن المطالب الإقتصادية التي تقابل تقدم التقنية. ان الحاضر الإجتماعي متخلف دوماً في استقبال الغد، وهو يناصبه العداء، ولذا وجب تجاوز مجتمع البعد الواحد، إلى المجتمع المتعدد الأبعاد، بمعنى يخالف ما يذهب اليه (ماركوز) واضرابه من ديماغوجي الفكر. يقول (روية): "ان ديماغوجي السياسة ليبدون شرفاء اذا قيسوا بديماغوجي الفكر: ان اولئك يخدعون الآخرين ويضللونهم بغية الإستيلاء على السلطة، في حين ان ديماغوجي الفكر يكتفون –بالتخريب وبالأذى- طلباً للشهرة وذيوع الصيت".
