Book Description
حقق أحد أهم ثلاثة طرق للحجاج القادمين من العراق، وهو ما يسمى "طريق الأخرجة" الذي يتفرع من منزل فيد الواقعة في الشمال الغربي لمدينة حائل، ويمتد إلى المدينة المنورة، وسماه بعض المؤلفين "طريق العناب". حيث انطلق المؤلف في رحلة علمية بدعم من دارة الملك عبدالعزيز سنة 1430هـ وقف فيها على ما يقي من معالم هذا الطريق ومن اشهرها: لحي الجمل وغمرة مرزوق وهضبة الكوكب والعنابة وحسنبطن الرمة وهضبةالغراء والعجاجة واسود العشاريات والحوارة وغيرها.
ويرى المؤلف ان الأخرجة إما أن تكون المورد الذي يرده الطريق الذي يلي أبضة التي تبعد عن فيد نحو 45 كيلاً وإما هي جبل حول قرية تدعى الصفراء ويسمى حالياً "جبل المشاركة" أو "جبل صفر المشاركة".
وقد حقق المولف أيضاً مقدار الميل الوارد في كتب البلدان، لكي يتمكن بناءً على ذلك من تحديد المسافات الفاصلة بين المعالم المذكورة في الكتب التاريخية ومقارنتها بالمواقع الباقية الآن.
