يضم الكتاب أربعة أجزاء في مجلد واحد وهي منظومات شعرية في رثاء العترة المحمدية جاء الجزء الأول من الروضة المحمدية هذا على الطريقة الفائزية (44 قصيدة) في النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وآله وممن والهم واحتوى الجزء الثاني على قصيدة طويلة في واقعة "الطف" على الطريقة النصارية و(125) بيتاً. أبو ديّة، وموال في النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والآل وما إلى ذلك.
وضمّ الجزء الثالث المهديات الحسينية وكان خاصاً بالموكبيات واللاطميات (44) قصيدة كعدة ومسيرة، و10 مستهلات عزائية، و(8) هوسات بالمناسبة وجاء الجزء الرابع في رثاء العترة المحمدية وفيه (50) قصيدة وقطعة ما بين هجري، نعي مجرد، بحراني، هجيني…
