نسجل خطوات في مسيرتها النضالية: هي عضو فاعل في المجلس النسائي اللبناني خلال الحرب أسست جمعيات مدنية نسائية ثقافية وتربوية فكانت العضو المؤسس للحركة النسائية للتوعية الاجتماعية للجامعيات اللبنانيات وللجنة سيدات بيت اليتيم الدرزي. وفي جمعية الجامعة الأميركية اللبنانية.
تقول أنعام: تربيت في أجواء روحانية صوفية في بيت جبلي يعتنق النضال مسلكاً والعلم هدفاً والوطنية التقدمية عقيدة. وكانت أذني تسجل منذ صغري كلمات تنطق بالحرية والتحرير فانغرست في داخلي بذرة الحرية التب تبرعمت وكبرت حتى اكتسبت كلمة حرية معنى الالتزام والمواجهة والعمل الدائم من أجل رقي الإنسان وتحرير الوطن.
