اختطف الفدائيون الفلسطينيون طائرة تابعة لشركة (ايرفرانس) وأرغموها على الهبوط في مطار عبنتبي في (أوغندة)، وقدمت لهم القوات المسلحة الأوغندية الحماية، وسمح الفدائيون للرهائن غير الصهاينة بالعودة إلى فرنسا، واحتجزوا الصهاينة كرهائن وطلبوا إطلاق سراح مجموعة من الأسرى الفلسطينيين الذين يعانون التعذيب في أقبية سجون الكيان الصهيوني، وهدد الخاطفون بإقدامهم على قتل الرهائن في حال عدم الاستجابة لمطالبهم، ولكن النظام الحاكم في إسرائيل غامر بحياة الرهائن ونفذ عملية عسكرية لقتل الفدائيين الخاطفين. وهذا الكتاب يروي تفاصيل هذه العملية إلى جانب تفاصيل لأشهر عمليات الكوماندوس في العالم.
