يتناول هذا الكتاب مجموعة مختارة من أحاديث الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بعد مقدمة عن برنامج الإسلام الجديد للحياة الذي ملأ نفوس معتنقيه إيماناً بقدسيته، ورأوا في تعليم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الخير الذي من ورائه المودة والحق الذي لا يأتيه الباطل، فوقفوا إلى جانب تلك التعاليم، ودافعوا عنها، ولم يقبلوا مساومة عليها، ولا انحرافاً عن أحكامها، ومن هنا كانت الأحاديث النبوية فيها المعاني التي تضيء بنورها ظلمات الحياة، ويبحث في بعض الأحاديث النبوية في الدعاء وفي حقيقة المسلم والأمر بالتعلم والسعي، وبيان نظام البيت والدلالة على خير الناس، والأمر بالاتحاد والقيام بتمام البر، والتقيد بالآداب الاجتماعية والنواهي والأوامر، وإدراك الحكمة وطرق الخير والرفق بالحيوان ويورد بعض المأثورات وبعض أخلاق المسلم. لتكون هنا الأحادبث مصدر خير للفرد والأمة معاً.
