تعاني اللغة العربية اليوم، على الألسنة وفي صحف الكاتبين، أزمة تدن وابتذال، وتجهيل لأصولها وقواعدها. وأكثر الناس معاناة هم الطلاب الجامعيون ورجال الأعمال الكتابية والخطابية، كالكتاب والمؤلفين، والأدباء والمحامين. وهذا الكتاب موجه إليهم جميعاً وإلى كل دارسي العربية وقواعدها، يستدرك هؤلاء من خلال مواده النحوية التي أدرجت فيه، جميع ما فاتهم تحصيله على مقاعد المدرسة، أو حتى تلك التي قصّرت عن استبقائه الذاكرة.
لذا فقد راعى المؤلف إيراد القواعد الأساسية أولاً ثم القواعد الأساسية المتممة للأولى ليضيف في المرحلة الثالثة ما بقي من القواعد التي توضح ما سبق وتدخل في تفصيلاتها، ليأتي هذا الكتاب كاملاً لمن أراد إلمامة سريعة بالقواعد، وكاملاً لمن أراد التبسط في معرفتها بمقدار، وكاملاُ لمن أراد أن يتضلع من هذه المعرفة.
وقد جعل المؤلف الشواهد والأمثال التطبيقية أبياتاً من الشعر المشهور مما يجري على ألسنة المثقفين وعلى أقلامهم فيستشهدون به في المناسبات، وكتب النصوص بلغة حديثة صحيحة، سهلة بقدر المستطاع، وجاء في آخر كل فصل تنبيه على بعض الأخطاء اللغوية الفاشية بين الناس، لكي يتحاشى الدارس من الوقوع فيها. كما أن الكلمات الصعبة الواردة في النص شرحت في آخر الدرس.
والأبعد من ذلك أن المؤلف راعى أن يكون هناك نماذج يمكن التدرب من خلال نسخها مرات ومرات الحصول على خط عربي جميل وواضح. وهذا الكتاب جاء نتيجة لاختصاص المؤلف واختباراته خلال ممارسته اللغة العربية مدة طويلة هدفه من وراء ذلك محاولة الإسهام في اتقان هذه اللغة التي يجهل أهلها قيمتها بصورة سهلة وأسلوب ميسر.
