هذا كتاب ذكر فيه المؤلف وهو "عبد القاهر التميمي الشافعي" خمسة عشر أصلاً من أصول الدين، حيث قام بشرح كل أصل منها بخمس عشرة مسألة من مسائل العدل والتوحيد والوعد والوعيد، وما يليق بها من مسائل النبوات والمعجزات وشروط الإمامة والزعامة من الأولياء وأهل الكرامة وأشار في كل مسألة منها إلى أصولها بالتحصيل دون التطويل ليكون مجموعها للعالم تذكرة، والمتعلم تبصرة.
وفيما يلي ذكر للأصول التي تحدث عنها المؤلف: في بيان الحقائق والعلوم على الخصوص والعموم، في حدوث العالم على أقسامه من أعراضه وأجسامه، في معرفة صانع العالم ونعوته في ذاته، في معرفة صفاته القائمة بذاته، في معرفة أسمائه وأوصافه، في معرفة عدله وحكمه، في معرفة رسله وأنبيائه، في معرفة معجزات أنبيائه وكرامات أوليائه، في معرفة أركان شريعة الإسلام، في معرفة أحكام التكليف في الأمر والنهي والخبر، في بيان أصول الإيمان، في بيان أحكام الإمامة وشروط الزعامة، في معرفة أحكام العلماء والأئمة، في بيان أحكام الكفر وأهل الأهواء الفجرة.
