تزييف وتحريف ومماطلة، وخداع ولؤم... وغدر وجبن، ومناورات ومؤامرات، ومغالاة واغتيالات و... ذلك هو تاريخ اليهود بالأمس، وذلك هو حاضرهم اليوم!! أسباب حديثة متصلة بأعمق جذور تاريخية، كلها نمط واحد ينبئ عن نفسية اليهود وجبلتهم، وعن طابعهم وطبيعتهم، وعن سلوكهم وعلاقاتهم، وعن أزمانهم وأحيانهم. هكذا اليهود كانوا عبر التاريخ، وفي ضمير الماضي، وهكذا اليهود في واقعهم، وهكذا هم اليهود في كل آن. وإن الباحث المنصف إذا أراد أن يتحدث عن اليهود، ويؤرخ واقعهم ووقائعهم، وأيامهم ومسراهم التاريخي والعقدي قد يجد عنتاً ومزالق؛ فقد كتب اليهود عن دينهم وعن تاريخهم كتباً عديدة فيها القليل من الحق والكثير من الغلو، وفيها هجوم واتهامات وتجريح وتشويه وفيها هدى وأنواء، وفيها من وراء ذلك كله... سموم... والكتاب الذي بين يدينا يهتم بالكشف عن هذه السموم وذلك على ضوء ما جاء في القرآن الكريم من آيات كريمة حول هذا الشعب، إذ يهتم الباحث وهو "محمود بن الشريف" بإثبات نص الآية الكريمة أولاً من ثم يقوم بشرحها على ضوء ما جاء في كتب الأوليين من تفسير من ثم يفصل القول في مزاعم وأقاويل اليهود وخداعهم، ويكشف عن مظاهر تحريفهم لتاريخهم ودلائل هذا التحريف، هذا ولم ينس الباحث الوقوف عند أخلاقياتهم وآرائهم في الأديان السماوية الأخرى.
