إن الغاية من هذا الكتاب هو التأكيد والترسيخ أن المرأة مفتاحُ الخير، وهل كلُّ الخيرِ، ولست مفتاحَ الشر أو هي كلُّ الشر، والتأكيد أن الإسلام هو الذي أعلى من شأن المرأة ورفع من قيمتها وأعطاها حقوقها، ولم يفرَّق بينها وبين الرجل إلا من حيث الوظيفة في إعمار الأرض وديمومة النسل البشر، فلها وظيفةُ الأمومة والسكينة للبشرية.
كما أكد الكتاب أن نهضة المسلمين اليوم متوقفةٌ على المرأة قبل الرجل إذا أخذت مكانتَها وحقوقها، ويهدف المؤلف إلى إعادة ثقةِ المرأةِ المسلمة بنفسها لتقوم بالدَّور القيادي الدَّعوي والتَّربوي لتربي اجيال اليوم والغد؛ حيث رسم الخطوط العريضة لقيام المسلمة من كبوتها، وإستيقاظها من غفلتها ورسم منهجٍ للدعوةِ النسائية للمستقبل.
وكانت خطةُ البحث مؤلَّفةً من: مقدمة وتمهيد وثمانية مباحث وخاتمة وفهارس، ففي المقدمة ذكر فيها المباحث الغاية من البحث والهدف منه وأهميته ومباحثه، أما التمهيد وذُكر فيه تعريفات العنوان (المنهج الدعوي، للمسلمة المعاصرة)، ثم كان هناك ثمانية مباحث كما يلي: المبحث الأول: "المرأة قبل الإسلام في القصص القرآني"، المبحث الثاني: "المرأة بعد الإسلام في القصص القرآني"، المبحث الثالث: "المرأة والقرآن"، المبحث الرابع: "مكانة المرأة في الإسلام"، المبحث الخامس: "المرأة في بيت النبوة"، المبحث السادس: "أحاديث مؤوَّلة أو باطلة وشبهات الأعداء عن المرأة"، المبحث السابع: "صور عن دور المرأة في التاريخ الإسلامي"، المبحث الثامن: "المنهج الدعوي للمسلمة الداعية المعاصرة"، وأخيراً "الخاتمة"...
