إنّ الغرائز والرغبات الذاتية، تعتبر ذخيرة إلهية، يتمكن الإنسان بواسطتها أن يكون عنصراً مؤثراً في الوسط الذي يعيش فيه؛ وذلك من خلال التعامل مع الأشياء التي حوله والأشخاص الذين يعيشون فيه، وكما أنّ طغيان هذه الرغبات تجعل الإنسان يتغاضى عن رؤية الحدود والحرمات، ويفرض على المجتمع آثاراً مرفوضةً وفاسدةً، فإنّ فتورها وتحجيمها يؤدي أيضاً إلى إمتصاص إرادة الإنسان وشعوره عند مواجهة ردود الأفعال، ويحرمه من الحصول على مكانته الحقيقة في الحياة، بحيث ينتج من هاتين الحالتين إمّا إنسان جشع وطاغي، أو آخر مضطرب ومحروم وكلاهما مذمومان وليسا هما الهدف الذي جعله الله تعالى للخلقة؛ لأنّ الإنسان الذي جعله الله تعالى خليفته في أرضه، ومن المفروض أن يحقق أهدافه وأوامره في الأرض، هو الإنسان الصالح والمصلح، والموجود الذي يمتلك إرادة، ويكون خبيراً بالحياة وله دور فيها.
